Terms

Commonry is free to use for members and organizers. You need to be 16 or older to hold an account, and you are responsible for what is posted from it.

Accounts are personal. Organizers may share responsibility for a community, but not a login.

Communities are run by their organizers, not by Commonry. Organizers are responsible for their gatherings, including the venue, the safety of the activity, and any money collected.

Commonry lists gatherings and does not host, insure, or supervise them. Where a community asks for a materials contribution, that money goes to the community directly.

You keep ownership of everything you write. By posting you give Commonry permission to display it on the platform and in search results, which is what makes threads findable by the people who need them.

Do not post anything you do not have the right to share, and do not post anything that breaches the community guidelines.

Commonry may remove content or suspend an account that breaches the guidelines or these terms. Serious breaches may result in immediate removal.

Where a community is wound down, its discussions are archived and remain readable rather than deleted, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

The service is provided as it stands. Commonry does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and is not liable for a gathering that was cancelled, moved, or turned out differently from its description.

Material changes to these terms are announced to members at least 30 days before they take effect.
