The Kiln Club
Mix, dip, and label test tiles for the next firing. Every result goes on the wall with its recipe.
We mix six base glazes and vary them across roughly ninety tiles. Everyone leaves having labeled their own, and everyone gets to see all ninety when they come out of the kiln two weeks later.
No throwing experience needed. Dipping a tile is a skill you acquire in about four minutes.
The $8 covers materials only and goes straight into the glaze fund. Nobody has ever been turned away for it.
