A full-day firing and unload. Two cracked rims, one exceptional accident on a copper glaze.
The July firing produced the copper red that half the glaze wall has been chasing since. The recipe went up the same evening and has been reproduced twice.
Fifteen members attended and, as the rule requires, the people who fired stayed to unload.
Fires the Kiln Club kiln, keeps the glaze tile wall, and has strong views about cone 6.
